It offers flexible payments at the convenience of cardholders, especially with up to 55 days interest-free on everyday purchases.

I find that the rates and fees that come with the GO Mastercard Credit Card are also on the competitive side, making it an ideal companion for my everyday needs. More on this later on.

What the GO Mastercard Credit Card Has to Offer

Another one of the more exciting offers that come with this particular credit card is having the chance to earn rewards points via the GO Rewards Points Program. This program allows me to earn points when I spend and redeem these points for something worthwhile.

All my purchases earn points, whether it’s a new appliance, groceriess or even buying petrol for my car. For every dollar I spend using my GO Mastercard Credit Card, I also earn 1 Latitude GO Rewards point, capped at 100,000 per year.

Some of the products or items that I can redeem through this program include perfume, an Apple TV, fashion items such as sunglasses, cookware sets, gadgets such as wireless earphones, and many others. Categories include fitness and outdoor, travel, electronics, beauty and fashion, and gift cards among others.

Interest-Free Plans at Every Level

The GO Mastercard Credit Card also provides long-term interest-free deals at partner retailers. These retailers include the likes of Harvey Norman, Domayne, Joyce Mayne, and more. I could get up to 1,000 days of interest-free plans on computer products, provided I have a minimum financed amount at $825.

I can also get an interest-free period on Apple products for up to 24 months with a minimum purchase of $300, 18 months on air conditioners with a minimum financed amount of $500, and up to 12 months on cooking appliances with a minimum financed amount of $300.

Interest-free payment plans help keep repayment simple and accessible every single month, letting me pay equal monthly payments. Although I can just pay the bare minimum, I can also make extra payments to help reduce the overall expenses.

How to Apply for the GO Mastercard Credit Card

Applying for a GO Mastercard Credit Card is perhaps one of the easiest applications I have ever come across. I can simply apply online and fill out the application within 10 minutes. After filling out the application, Latitude Finance will provide its decision in as little as 60 seconds.

The online application form can be found on the Latitude Financial website. It asked me to disclose personal details like my current residential address, the length of time I have stayed at my current place of residence, and if I had an Australian driver’s license. It also requests income information.

The bank can verify my identity online and make the overall decision easier. Those who failed to have their identity verified electronically will have to go to Australia Post to verify the document in person.

If approved, cardholders will be given a credit limit that corresponds to their creditworthiness. This will be determined by the bank according to their review and can vary from person to person. The minimum credit limit is $1,000.

Requirements and Eligibility

Before I pressed the apply button, I made sure I was eligible for the GO Mastercard Credit Card and checked the eligibility section. In general, I need to be aged 18 or older and a permanent Australian resident or citizen.

I was also required to have a copy of my driver’s license, passport, or any legal document that will provide proof of identification and age. I also needed to provide information surrounding my employment such as my income as well as my assets and debts.

Among the details, I needed to disclose my employer’s name and contact details. The bank may ask for other documents they deem necessary upon their discretion.

Fees and Charges of a GO Mastercard Credit Card

There are rates and charges that come with owning a GO Mastercard Credit Card. In order to help me and other cardholders enjoy the benefits afforded to us, I believe that paying on time and at the very least, the minimum amount, is essential.
